This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to all Clients and users of any service provided by Varsuite Media Group Ltd, trading as Varsuite (“Varsuite”), including hosting, websites, email, domains, AI agents and automation, and related services (each a “Service”). It forms part of the agreement between Varsuite and the Client in accordance with clause 2 of the Service Contract and clause 6 of the Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited content and activity
1.1 A Client or user must not use a Service to:
- store, transmit or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of a third party;
- send unsolicited bulk communications (“spam”), or facilitate phishing, deceptive messaging or impersonation;
- distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data;
- interfere with, disrupt or degrade the integrity, performance or security of a Service or any third-party network;
- engage in fraudulent, harassing, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful conduct;
- circumvent usage limits, security controls or access restrictions applicable to a Service.
2. Acceptable use of AI features
2.1 Where a Service includes AI agents, automation or other AI-assisted features (“AI Features”), a Client or user must not use those AI Features to:
- generate or distribute content that would breach clause 1 of this Policy;
- impersonate a person or organisation without authorisation, or mislead individuals into believing they are interacting with a human where doing so would be unlawful or materially deceptive;
- make, as the sole decision-maker without appropriate human review, a legal, medical, financial, employment, credit, insurance, safeguarding or other significant decision about an individual, except where this has been specifically assessed and agreed with Varsuite in writing;
- attempt to circumvent safety features, guardrails or usage limits built into an AI Feature;
- process special category data or children's personal data through an AI Feature other than as agreed under the applicable Data Processing Addendum.
2.2 This clause applies to all AI Features regardless of the underlying AI provider, model or technology used to deliver them.
3. Reasonable use of shared infrastructure
3.1 A Client must not use a Service in a way that places unreasonable demand on shared infrastructure, or that is materially disproportionate to the Service purchased. Where usage materially exceeds what was scoped, Varsuite will discuss a suitable plan or capacity change with the Client before taking further action, save where clause 4 applies.
4. Consequences of breach
4.1 Where reasonably possible, Varsuite will give the Client notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a breach of this Policy before taking further action.
4.2 Varsuite may remove content, or suspend or restrict access to a Service, immediately and without prior notice where reasonably necessary to prevent harm, a security compromise, or unlawful activity, in accordance with clause 32 of the Service Contract.
4.3 A serious or repeated breach of this Policy may result in termination of the affected Service in accordance with clause 35 of the Service Contract.
5. Reporting a concern
5.1 If you believe a Service is being used in breach of this Policy, please contact us at abuse@varsuite.co.uk or support@varsuite.co.uk.
6. Changes to this Policy
6.1 Varsuite may update this Policy from time to time in accordance with clause 11 of the Terms of Service.
